The private equity firm Acorn Growth Companies on Monday said it has acquired CIS Secure Computing, Inc., marking its second acquisition in the defense electronics space.CIS, which is based in Northern Virginia, develops and manufactures products such as secure telephones, secure computers, encrypted tactical communications systems, secure conferencing systems, and other products.
