State Department Approves $1 Billion Sale Of MH-60R Equipment To India

The State Department on Monday okayed a potential $1.2 billion sale of tactical radio terminals and other equipment to India for use with the country’s MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopters. India would receive 30 Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Joint Tactical Radio Systems (MIDS-JTRS) and other MH-60R related equipment, including external fuel tanks, RTX [RTX]-built AN-AAS 44C(V) forward looking infrared systems, munitions, spare parts, and other equipment. Lockheed Martin [LMT], which builds the MH-60s, is the principal contractor for the proposed foreign military sale.…
