SilverEdge Government Solutions on Monday said it has acquired Counter Threat Solutions, LLC (CTS), adding scale and capabilities in analysis and information technology for defense and intelligence customers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. CTS has more than 100 employees, with nearly all holding high-level security clearances.

“By combining CTS’ capabilities with SilverEdge’s existing cybersecurity, software and intelligence solutions, we are increasing our cleared workforce to approximately 450 engineers and technical staff whose primary focus is to provide our intelligence customers with the tools required to support critical mission needs.”

CTS, which is based in Northern Virginia and was founded in 2015, has a wide range of capabilities in all source analysis, intelligence and counter-intelligence analysis, insider threat analysis and solutions, special operations support, due diligence, continuous financial monitoring, program management and more. Theresa Keith, the CEO of CTS, will continue to lead the company under the SilverEdge platform.

The deal for CTS follows SilverEdge’s recent acquisition of QVine, LLC, which also added to its footprint in the intelligence community. QVine provides software-as-a-service and cloud services to its customers.

SilverEdge is based in Columbia, Md., and is a portfolio company of Godspeed Capital

. The McLean Group was CTS’s financial adviser on the deal.
