SAIC Nabs $63 Million Contract For Navy Hypersonic Work

Science Applications International Corp. [SAIC] said on Thursday it won a $63 million contract from the Navy to support advanced hypersonic concepts and strategic mission development. The work is specifically focused on hypersonic programs within the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and the Strategic Systems Hardware Division (GXW) of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Ind. SAIC said under this contract it will “enhance hypersonics advanced concepts and strategic missions” focused on next-generation systems, subsystems, components, features and technologies…
