Army Conducts Successful Flight Test of New Target Missile

Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) yesterday said it successfully completed a flight test of the new Economical Target-1 (ET-1) at Eglin AFB, Fla. The ET-1 missile was launched at 8:00 a.m. EST from the Santa Rosa Test Site on Eglin into the broad ocean area within the test range.
