AE Industrial Partners Acquires Majority Stake In York Space Systems

The private equity firm AE Industrial Partners (AEI) on Monday said it has completed its purchase of a majority stake in York Space Systems, a manufacturer of small satellites, related components and turnkey mission solutions. Terms of the deal, which was first announced in early October, were not disclosed. AEI has made a number of bets in the new space economy.
