State Department Official Says U.S., China ‘Making Progress’ In Space Security, Sustainability Issues

The United States and China have made “significant progress” on space security and sustainability issues in recent years, according to a key State Department official.Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Frank Rose said Thursday the U.S. and China, at a bilateral strategic and economic dialogue in June, agreed to establish both a civil space dialogue and a separate space security exchange.
