Navy Awards $5 Billion Contract Vehicle For Sea Port Next Generation Support

The Navy awarded 1,870 multiple-award contracts for future competition of expected $5 billion annually for next generation seaport support work under the SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) contract vehicle.Work under this contract vehicle is divided between engineering support services and program management support services, which are further divided into 23 total functional areas, including engineering, financial management, and program management.SeaPort is the Navy’s electronic platform to acquire support services in the 23 functional areas.
