X-Bow Systems on Tuesday said the Large Solid Rocket Motor (LRSM) it is developing for the Defense Department successfully completed the preliminary design review (PDR) in June, the second major technical review after advancing through DoD’s System Requirements Review previously. Successful completion of PDR is sign of a system’s design maturity and risk reduction. The startup said it is on track for the next key milestone, the critical design review in the summer of 2025.
