TSA Awards Security Equipment Support Contracts To Analogic, Leidos, R&S, And Smiths

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) this month awarded support contracts to four companies -- Analogic, Leidos [LDOS], Rohde & Schwarz (R&S), and Smiths Detection -- to provide life-cycle support for each company’s transportation security equipment deployed by the agency at U.S. airports. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to Leidos is worth up to $115.8 million and for Smiths $70.8 million, TSA said in separate notices published on Sept. 12 in the federal government’s procurement site Sam.gov.
