Stratolaunch, With Ursa Major’s Hadley Engine, Completes First Powered Talon-A Hypersonic Flight

Stratolaunch, LLC last Saturday said it successfully completed the first powered flight of its Talon-A test vehicle, reaching high supersonic speeds, a key milestone in the development of the privately funded hypersonic test capability. The TA-1 vehicle was powered by Ursa Major’s 5,000-pound thrust Hadley engine, which also flew for the first time.
