Northrop Grumman Wins AN/SPQ-9 Radar Design Agent Award

The Navy awarded Northrop Grumman [NOC] a follow-on contract to be the design agent for the AN/SPQ-9B surface search and fire control radar, the company said Thursday. Under the engineering services contract award, the company will provide support for existing and future radar systems, troubleshoot issues, perform redesign efforts as parts become obsolete, and add new capabilities to the baseline system.
