Lockheed Martin Develops Rugged Tactical Digital Assistant

By Ann Roosevelt Lockheed Martin [LMT] has developed a rugged, Tactical Digital Assistant (TDA) handheld device for dismounted soldiers. The TDA combines the best design features of personal digital assistants (PDA) with smart phone technologies in a compact, ruggedized design, a company spokesman told Defense Daily in an e-mail.
