General Dynamics Mission Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is awarded a $28,659,148 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification (P00002) to exercise options under a previously awarded contract (N0003022C1005) for fiscal 2022-2025 U.S. and U.K. Trident II (D-5) SSBN Fire Control System and SSGN Attack Weapon Control System support. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts (98%); and Rhode Island (2%). Work is expected to be completed April 30, 2025. Fiscal 2022 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $26,943,315; fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,158,935; and fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $556,898 are being obligated on this award. Of this amount, only fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is being awarded to the contractor on a sole source basis under 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) and was previously synopsized on the System for Award Management online portal.
