Chesapeake Technology Acquires Small Developer Of UAS, Edge Communications Capabilities

Chesapeake Technology International Corp. (CTI) on Monday said it has acquired Asymmetric Technologies, LLC, a small developer and supplier of open architecture capabilities for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and edge communications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. CTI is a portfolio company of Bluestone Investment Partners. Asymmetric has developed IronClad, a platform agnostic, cyber secure, open architecture, edge computer for automatic piloting, video processing, and artificial intelligence and computer vision applications.
