British Police To Test A Small Fleet Of Five Drones
The Police Innovation fund has bequeathed £250,000 to Surrey and Sussex Police, so it can perform the “largest trial of police drones in England and Wales”. Clearly the rozzers haven’t done that much work with drones in the past, since this test will only involve five UAVs – four of which are brand new.

Iran’s New Unmanned Aeiral System Makes Maiden Flight
TEHRAN, April 12 (UPI) — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, or IRGC, on Tuesday unveiled its newest aerial surveillance drone during large-scale military exercises in the western part of the country. Iranian media reports the drone, named “Hamasseh” or “Epic” in English, conducted its first ever surveillance flights during the exercise in Sistan and Baluchestan Province in western Iran.
