Airbus Delivers First A330 MRTT, As Company Looks to Autonomous Refueling

On June 29, Airbus delivered the first of eight Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft ordered by the NATO Multinational MRTT Fleet (MMF) after a ceremony held at the Airbus Getafe site in Spain.  The plane will operate from the MMF base in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and from a forward operating base in Cologne, Germany.
