COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—As part of its efforts around sustaining operations in space amid a war, U.S. Space Command and the Space Force’s innovation arm are co-sponsoring a $19 million challenge for commercial companies to offer their solutions for sustained space maneuver, the head of the command said on Tuesday. USSPACECOM and SpaceWERX plan to award $1.9 million each to 10 companies for 15-month contracts for the maneuver challenge.
