ManTech Shareholders Approve Acquisition By Carlyle Group

ManTech International Corp. [MANT] on Wednesday said its shareholders approved a purchase of the company by the private equity firm The Carlyle Group [CG] for $96 per share in cash, which values the transaction at about $4.2 billion overall The deal was first announced in May. ManTech said that more than 99 percent of the votes cast were in favor of the acquisition. The transaction is expected to close next week. ManTech’s financial adviser on the deal is Goldman Sachs…
