The Air Force Oct. 30 morning delayed the launch of its 11th satellite in the Global Positioning System IIF series (GPS IIF-11) from Oct. 30 until Oct. 31, according to a service statement.
During final launch preparations of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V launch vehicle, a leak was discovered in a ground support equipment valve for the launch pad water suppression system. Launch window is 12:13 p.m.-12:32 p.m. EDT. Liftoff will take place at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
ULA is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA].
