The Joint Project Manager (JPM) for Nuclear Biological Chemical Contamination Avoidance (NBCCA) is conducting a market survey regarding new concepts and technologies to enhance standoff detection of chemical contamination on surfaces in support of the Next Generation Chemical Standoff Detection (NGCSD) program. The NGCSD program will provide early warning for both traditional chemical warfare agent and emergent threat attacks at fixed sites, forward operating bases and on service designated vehciels and ships. The NGCSD system will detect chemical vapors, liquids, and solids in the air and on the ground. The JPM NBCCA seeks a sensor that can detect surface contamination at distances of 50 meters or more in near real-time after initial interrogation. Sol. No. W911SR-NGCSD-RFI. Respond by March. 3.
