Goodrich Corp. [GR] has selected TeraView continuous wave terahertz technology platform for use in its chemical agent detection system. Goodrich is developing a high resolution spectrometer to detect chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals with the support of the Department of Homeland Security. United Kingdom- based TeraView says it has also entered into an agreement with Goodrich to supply its continuous wave photomixers for the U.S. security market. TeraView says it expects other partnership opportunities to evolve with its terahertz platform for use in product solutions outside of its core pharmaceutical market.
