OSI Systems [OSIS] has received a $1.5 million follow-on contract from the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) to continue data fusion work aimed at improving the performance of existing nuclear threat detection techniques through the development of integrated systems using X-Ray and neutron-based inspection methods. OSI says that integrated algorithms developed under the study are potentially expected to be deployable in a range of nuclear threat detection systems for cargo and container screening.
