The Air Force said recently five people were injured in a CV-22 Osprey crash in Florida.

The crash occured at Hurlburt Field, Fla., around 6:45 p.m., the service said in a statement. A 1st Special Operations Wing was performing a routine training mission at the time of the crash. Emergency responders from the base and Okaloosa County arrived at the scene where they found the five aircrew members and transported them to local hospitals.

The Air Force said none of the injuries are life-threatening.

The CV-22 Osprey, a tiltrotor aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability, is a joint venture of Bell Helicopter, a division of Textron [TXT], and Boeing [BA].
