CSRA [CSRA], which was created in Nov. 2015 following the spin-off of the former federal business of CSC [CSC] and the immediate acquisition of SRA International, easily topped the list of prime contract winners in FY ’16 from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with more than $600 million in contracts.

CSRA provides professional and IT services to federal agencies.

Bollinger Shipyards, which makes the Coast Guard’s Fast Response Cutters, was the second largest recipient of DHS prime contract awards followed by Sweden’s Securitas AB, which protective, electronic security, and other security services.

Overall in FY ’16, DHS awarded $13.4 billion in prime contracts, down less than $50 million from FY ’15. Guard services topped the list of products and services that DHS contracted for in FY ’16 with nearly $1.6 billion spent on this category.

Including grants, which aren’t reflected in prime contract awards, the Federal Emergency Management Agency awarded the most funds in FY ’16, $14.3 billion, followed by the Coast Guard at $2.8 billion and the DHS Office of the Secretary at $2.6 billion. Customs and Border Protection awarded $2.4 billion in contracts and the Transportation Security Administration $1.7 billion.
