[GD] Mission Systems business a contract for the company’s Sectera vIPer Universal Secure Phone with PSTN connect modules and a three-year extended warranty. The contract addresses requirements of the agency’s Information Technology Communications Security Account Office.

OSI Systems Nabs $16M International Contract for Inspection Systems Support

OSI Systems [OSIS] has received a $16 million, multi-year contract from an international customer to provide maintenance, repair, upgrades and support services for several platforms of cargo, vehicle and baggage inspection systems currently deployed at certain customer checkpoints. OSI says the systems are used for border security. The customer wasn’t disclosed.

BioSpatial Gets $7M Award to Provide DHS with Biosurveillance Data

The Department of Homeland Security Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office has awarded Biospatial, Inc. a $6.9 million contract for a subscription to provide biosurveillance data. The data provides a nationwide system of early medical information and supports the CWMD Office’s Information and Analysis Directorate’s National Biosurveillance Integration Center.

CACI Nabs $48M Award to Support FEMA Public Warning System

CACI International [CACI] received a potential five-year, $48 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to provide sustainment, decommissioning, construction, modernization, and environmental and historic preservation to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Public Warning System (NPWS), a nationwide alert and warning system used to issue national emergency information to all Americans in the event of a national crisis. CACI said it will continue to enterprise technology to FEMA to improve the resilency and survivability of the 77 stations nsationwide with an all-hazards shelter system, including protections against high-altitude electromagnetic pulse. The latest award builds upon the company’s expertise it already provides to the FEMA Integrated Public Alert and Warning System Directorate’s Lab. CACI said it will now provide technical training and support for emergency managers tasked with warning the American public in case of a potential emergency. “CACI is proud FEMA has chosen our company to modernize the National Public Warning System, which is critical to disseminating safety information to the public,” says John Mengucci, CACI’s president and CEO.

Axionus to Provide CDM Services

Axonius says it has received a contract from IntelliPeak Solutions Inc. to provide cybersecurity asset management services to the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense Group F agencies. The cybersecurity asset managemebt solution will be available as part of a shared services platform created to deliver cyber capabilities to more than 70 non-cabinet level federal agencies. “New funding from the presidential administration and increasing complexity created by evolving models of work are factors driving a huge movement for change right now,” says Bobby McLernon, vice president of Federal Sales for Axonius. “By adopting a solution like Axonius, federal agencies immediately have a unified view of all their assets and their coverage, empowering them to ask questions, get answers, and take action to enforce their security policies. This ability is a huge part of achieving CDM compliance and a zero-trust environment.”

Telos Nabs Contract to Process Background Checks for Aviation Workers at Charlotte Airport

Telos Corp. [TLS] says it has been selected by Charlotte, N.C., to provide Transportation Security Administration-approved Designated Aviation Channeling (DAC) services for processing worker background checks at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The DAC services at CLT were previously provided by the Transportation Security Clearinghouse, which is managed by the American Association of Airport Executives. “The DAC services deployment at Charlotte Douglas International Airport is notable for its integration with CLT’s Identity Management System, enabling efficient biographic and biometric transmissions,” says Dawn Lucini, vice president of Aviation Security for Telos. “We have streamlined the TSA-required aviation worker background check process, while upholding the high security and customer service standards at CLT.” In February, Telos was also selected by Fresno Yosemite International Airport to provide DAC services.
