DNDO Continues with ITRAP+10

The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) continues to develop the Illicit Trafficking Radiation Assessment Program (ITRAP+10) program with the European Commission to evaluate and compare the performance of available radiation detection equipment relevant to nuclear safety. The results will provide an independent assessment of available radiation detection equipment on the market which will serve as a reference for regulatory and other authorities to identify equipment and or families of equipment to address their particular needs, and potentially help to ensure common standards on an international level. TSA Seeks Sources for Insider Threat Software

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Focused Operations has issued a Sources Sought notice for a software tool to detect insider threats. Focused Operations has determined that the best method to monitor and detect insider threats is at the user host level. The software package must be able to monitor user activities such as keystroke monitoring, chat monitoring, email and attachment monitoring, website monitoring, network activity monitoring, and other monitoring without the end user being able to detect the technology. If a host is not connected to the TSA network, the software will continue to collect information and then automatically transfer it once the host connects back to the TSA network. Sol.
