TiaLinx, Inc., has introduced a lightweight, ultra-wideband, multi-gigahertz radio frequency imager capable of detecting the breathing patterns of an individual in a line and uplink the data remotely to a monitoring station. The Eagle5-N can be used for a variety of applications. TiaLinx says the sensors are deployed in a cluster to monitor breathing patterns wirelessly. The device can be used in the detection of tunnels, standoff surveillance of desired premises for motion tracking, and scanning for detection of implanted metallic objects. Eagle5-N can be used to detect live bodies under rubble and to prevent illegal human trafficking, the company says.
