Textron Marine & Land Systems To Field More Vehicles For Afghan National Army

Textron Marine & Land Systems [TXT] (TM&LS) yesterday said it received a third option award for 71 Mobile Strike Force Vehicles (MSFV) for the Afghanistan National Army (ANA). The vehicles were added to the current contract and have a not-to-exceed value of $79.1 million. The option brings the work to nearly 500 vehicles, including test and low-rate production vehicles. The work will be performed at TM&LS' facilities in the New Orleans area, with vehicle deliveries scheduled through October 2013.  Three…
