Smiths Nabs $4.5M Award to Supply Ecuador Airport with X-Ray EDS

Smiths Detection has won a $4.5 million contract from to supply its HI-SCAN Explosives Detection tomography System in the new Quito International Airport in Ecuador. The Automated X-Ray systems will be integrated into the baggage handling system at the airport. Smiths Detection's local partner in the sale is Unlimited Systems Ecuador.
