Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, told NASA to turn over documents relating to a federal probe of a company that has received NASA small-business innovation contracts.
The company, New Era Technology, or NETECH, received NASA contracts or grants, and then the firm and its owners allegedly diverted government funds for their personal enrichment, according to Rockefeller, who quoted news reports.
In a letter to acting NASA Administrator Chris Scolese, Rockefeller said he wants those documents provided to the committee by March 23.
