Rofori joined FireEye as a partner in the latter’s Cyber Security Coalition (CSC), Rofori said Monday.

Rofori provides DEFCON CYBER, a cybersecurity cloud service that prioritizes incidents, automates the response workflow processes, and measures activity responses across operations to product cybersecurity risk posture scores. The product also operationalizes the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework to be the business risk driver for incident prioritization and mitigation, Rofori said.

Under the new agreement, DEFCON CYBER will fall under the coalition, which is a ground designed to simplify security environments for customers by using FireEye’s Global Threat Management Platform. “Joint customers will benefit from enhanced threat detection and faster, more efficient correlation and response,” Rofori said in a statement.

DEFCON has previously been offered as a hosted cloud service, on-premise cloud service (through VMWare and Hyper-V), or an application plug-in to the existing Microsoft [MSFT] SharePoint enterprise platform.

DEFCON CYBER will now make use of FireEye’s iSight Intelligence product to provide correlation between actionable threat intelligence and indicators.

“In today’s environment, resources are limited to analyze and correlate vast amounts of information. The combination of DEFCON CYBER™ and FireEye’s iSIGHT Intelligence enables automated and continuous correlation of threat intelligence data to priority incidents,” Chuck O’Dell, Rofori Corporation CEO, said in a statement.

FireEye recently added 12 new technology partners to the CSC last month (Defense Daily, June 6).
