Qatar Requests $3 Billion FMS For AH-64D Apache Longbow Helos, Missiles, Radars

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said July 12 it notified Congress of a potential Foreign Military Sale to Qatar including 24 AH-64D Apache Block III Longbow helicopters and associated parts and equipment worth an estimated $3 billion. Qatar requested, in addition to the 24 helicopters, a large number of missiles and launchers.
