MEXICO CITY, July 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Interjet Airlines, a leading international airline based in Mexico, announced it transported 1,309,147 passengers in the month of June 2019, an increase of 14.7 percent for the same month in 2018. International traffic surged more than 28 percent while domestic passenger counts increased 9.7 percent.

Other highlights included:

• RPK’s (revenue passenger kilometers) increased 19.4 percent for June 2019 versus June 2018
• ASK’s (available seat kilometers) also increased nine percent
• Overall load factors increased 10 percent to 89 percent for the month of June 2019
