Toluca International Airport in Mexico has ordered two CTX 9400 explosives detection systems (EDS) from General Electric‘s [GE] Security business for inline screening of checked bags. “We are proud to be the first airport in Mexico to incorporate the most advanced baggage screening technology to our operations,” says Alexandro Argudin, CEO of Administradora Mexiquense for Toluca International. The CTX 9400 is the first in a series of enhancement to GE’s product improvement plan for its CTX 9000 EDS line. That improvement program gives customers an upgrade path for its CTX 9000 systems through a series of regular new product releases.
