Jumper Elected Chair of SAIC Board of Directors

SAIC Inc. [ SAI] yesterday said President and CEO John Jumper has been elected Chair of the SAIC Board of Directors, effective June 15. Jumper succeeds A. Thomas Young, who will continue to serve on the Board as an independent director. On March 1, Jumper succeeded Walt Havenstein as SAIC CEO (Defense Daily, Feb. 22).
