The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of commercial off-the-shelf automated installation entry system to provide access control for military installations. The desired system include, but is not limited to, an integrated and automated capability that can perform identity management, installation entry control, video surveillance, visitor enrollment and credentialing vetting functions. Other functions of interest include real-time tailoring of access control to changes in threat level, use of biometrics, electronic linkage to National Crime Information Center, Defense Biometrics Identification System, and or other personnel data management sources, and ability to interconnect with existing and emerging force protection systems and networks.
