Indonesia Requests $47 Million In AIM-9X-2 Sidewinder Missiles

The State Department approved a possible $47 million Foreign Military Sales (FMS) request to Indonesia for AIM-9X-2 Sidewinder Missiles and associated equipment, parts and logistical support.The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential sale on May 5.The primary contractor would be Raytheon [RTN].The requested FMS would include 30 AIM-9X-2 Sidewinder Block II All-Up-Round Missiles, 20 AIM-9X-2 Captive Air Training Missiles (CATM), two CATM-9X-2 Block II Tactical Missile Guidance Units, four CATM-9X-2 Block II Guidance Units, and two…
