Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has awarded General Atomics a potential $67.6 million time and materials contract for operational and maintenance services in support of the agency’s Predator unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). General Atomics’ Aeronautical Systems Co. supplies the Predator UAS to CBP. CBP says the exact times and quantities of future deliveries are unknown so the contract has the flexibility to order services as needed. The agency also says it is unrealistic to anticipate costs with any degree of confidence. The award has a base period and one option year.
