The Government Accountability Office (GAO) earlier this month rejected a protest by losing bidder CACI International [CACI], upholding the Transportation Security Administration’s potential $343 million award to Peraton of an information technology contract.
The GAO in April sustained part of CACI’s original protest and denied another part of it, leading TSA to reopen the award decision and reevaluate proposals on the one part sustained by GAO. TSA in August then rewarded the contract to Perspecta, which is a part of Peraton, with CACI filing a new protest the same month.
On Nov. 7, the GAO denied CACI’s protest of the IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) II contract.
CACI was the incumbent under the first IMPACT award.
