Force Protection Inc. [FRPT] received a $64.1 million contract modification for seat survivability upgrade kits for Cougar Vehicles.
The work to be done by Force Protection Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary, involves 1,9846 Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected Category 1 Cougar vehicles.
The modification is still to be defined,
The upgrade kit work will be done primarily in Afghanistan with additional work in Kuwait and home stations in the United States. All work is expected to be completed by February 2011.
