CISA Plans Virtual Industry Event for Digital Transformation Services
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in January plans to host a virtual pre-solicitation conference to discuss its Digital Transformation Support Services (DTSS) effort. The agency is seeking to implement digital transformation technologies and support services to establish the Office of Chief Information Officer as the primary information technology source and management enterprise provider for CISA. The Department of Homeland Security and CISA intend to establish multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreements against eligible General Service Administration contracts. The period of performance will include a base-year and four one-year options with contracts underway this June. The solicitation is expected to be release by or before the end of March. DHS Security Lab Requires Test Support Services
The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate has issued a Request for Information seeking engineering and technical support services for the Transportation Security Laboratory’s (TSL) certification test and evaluation assessment missions that support the acquisition of screening equipment. The support will consist of design of experiments, test and execution and test report support services for discovery and conformity tests of sensor systems used by the Transportation Security Administration and other DHS components for screening stream of commerce and other applications. The TSL performs between 10 and 20 conformity tests every year related to one or more detection systems, including: Advanced Imaging Technology; Shoe Scanning Device; Bottle Liquid Scanner; Accessible Property Screening System; Advanced Technology Screening Devices; Explosive or Contraband Trace Detection; Explosives Detection System; Enhanced Metal Detector; and Cargo Screening Systems. DHS Finalizing Requirements for Network Cyber and Cloud Support
The Department of Homeland Security says it has completed its review of responses to an earlier Request for Information and is finalizing the requirements documentation for Network and Cloud Support Services (NCCS) for the DHS headquarter Office of the Chief Information Officer Network Security and Operations Center.
