Army Issues RFI for G-BOSS(E)

The Army Program Executive Office Integrated Electronic Weapon Systems has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Ground-Based Operational Surveillance System (Expeditionary) (G-BOSS(E) program. The RFI seeks supplier’s comments on the procurement specification for the non-developmental item (NDI) or near-NDI ground-based electro-optic/infrared/short-wave infrared/laser range finder/laser pointer surveillance system for detection and tracking of targets of interest such as walking humans, and small and large vehicles. The G-BOSS(E) is an expeditionary, ground-based, self-contained multi-spectral sensor-oriented persistent surveillance system used to observe, collect, detect, classify, identify, track, record and report on contacts and assessed threats around-the-clock using a display of fused video and sensor data. TSA Issues RFI for Performance Management and Annual Proficiency Review Solution

DNDO Seeks to Develop Repository for Collected Event Data

The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) has issued a Request for Information related to is need to develop a repository for archiving data from its test and evaluation events. The Radiological and Nuclear Data Repository must also house developed models and simulations developed to support test and evaluation events. DNDO is seeking information on commercial capabilities to develop such a repository. The RNDR will fill the gap that currently exists within the Analysis Resource Compendium of document and data repositories used for test planning and by members of the DNDO Data Mining, Analysis and Modeling Cell for analysis, modeling and simulation activities. DHS S&T Initiates BAA for International Cyber Security Collaboration

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate, Cyber Security Division has issued a five-year Broad Agency Announcement for targeted research and development projects in support of the division’s international collaborations. The international partners include Britain, Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, European Union, Germany, Israel, Sweden, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, South Korea, Singapore, and future international partners. DHS S&T Issues Call Against BAA

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate, Cyber Security Division has issued a call against an existing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) as part of its Information Marketplace for Policy and Analysis of Cyber-risk and Trust (IMPACT) project. IMPACT enables, sustains and mediates the provisioning of freely available cyber security data and analysis, between providers and seekers, within the global industrial, academic, and government cyber security communities. It lowers the barrier to entry for cyber security research and development by addressing the operational, legal, and administrative costs that otherwise impede scalable and sustainable data sharing needed to enable higher quality cyber security R&D innovation in a responsible manner.
