The Transportation Security Administration has awarded CACI International [CACI] a potential six-month contract extension to continue providing information technology support under the TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) contract, allowing services to continue while a protest is resolved for a follow-on contract. TSA last December awarded Peraton a five-year, $343 million IMPACT 2 contract, which was protested by CACI, who is the incumbent for under the first IMPACT award. The value of the extension was redacted.
