Customs and Border Protection plans to award a contract to Dejero for small unmanned aircraft mobile transmitters. The value of the award was redacted. CBP says Canada-based Dejero is the only company with the patented technology to support live video feed via multiple sim cards and multiple service providers simultaneously, providing coverage in signally-challenged areas along the border.

Thermo Fisher Scientific

[TMO] has received a $1.6 million contract from Customs and Border Protection to provide isotope radio mass spectrometry. The contract was awarded to Thermo’s Thermo Electron North America division based in Florida.

Customs and Border Protection has awarded an $871,117 contract to Sensors and Software Inc. for a cross-borehole ground penetrating radar system to be used for geotechnical sampling and surveying projects by the Border Patrol. The Border Patrol’s National Subterranean Operations group detects cross-border tunnels and subterranean activity, responds to illegal activities associated with the tunnel and resolves final tunnel status by remediating the tunnel.
