The Department of Homeland Security is extending the proposal response date for Phase II of the FirstSource III solicitation from Aug. 24 until Sept. 14. DHS is using the $10 billion FirstSource III department-wide acquisition vehicle to procure information technology commodities, including hardware and software, and value added-reseller services.
The Coast Guard
plans to award a sole-source contract to Peraton for Intelligence Situational Awareness Tool information assurance patched software builds, technical support, and technical training. The Coast Guard says that market research shows the company is the only source capable of meeting its requirement. The value of the pending contract wasn’t disclosed.
The Transportation Security Administration is increasing the ceiling value of a recent contract with Accenture Federal Services, which provides support to the Department of Homeland Security Workforce Morale and Engagement initiative. The contract was awarded on Feb. 28 with a four-month base period, a five-month option, and two three-month options. Accenture will provide overall project management and coordination and more focused support for employee morale, wellbeing, diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. The amount of the ceiling increase was redacted.
