Boeing to Invest in Self-Protection Improvements for KC-46A, Future Tankers

Boeing [BA] and its Aurora Flight Sciences subsidiary are working on self-protection improvements for the Boeing KC-46A Pegasus and future tankers, Boeing said at the Paris Air Show on June 19. Boeing and Aurora "are investing in further developing advanced defensive systems and countermeasures for application on next-generation refueling and mobility platforms including the KC-46A Pegasus tanker," Boeing said.
