Army Seeks Airborne Demonstrator Payload for IED Detection

The Army Research Development and Engineering Command is seeking technologies for near-real-time detection of surface and buried improvised explosive devices (IEDs), surface and buried minefields and home made explosive materials. The demonstrator payload is targeted for the Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and will include multiple imaging sensors, aided target detection algorithms, and processing hardware. Sol.
