ARINC Inc. has introduced AIM Enterprise Security Platform (ESP), a scaled-down version of its AIM Security Computer System used for security management at nuclear electric power plants and government installations. The AIM ESP will retain key SCS characteristics related to facility monitoring and command and control, with the open platform flexibility and scalability commercial customers require. “With the new AIM ESP product from ARINC, our enterprise customers will no longer be held hostage by proprietary platforms,” says Frank Koren, product director for AIM ESP. “For the first time ever, enterprises will be able to manage their won migration to newer types of security technologies, at their own pace, and according to their available budgets.” ARINC is a portfolio company of the private equity firm The Carlyle Group.
