The Air Force on July 22 postponed its Wideband Global Satcom-7 (WGS-7) launch until July 23, citing weather at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.

Launch was scheduled for 8:07 p.m. EDT. According to the 45th Weather Squadron at Cape Canaveral, there was a 30 percent chance of precipitation and 20 percent chance of lightning.

Launch was to take place on a Delta IV from United Launch Alliance (ULA), a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA].
